Tshogs zhing Mongolia, circa 19th century Tempera on canvas. 16 x 12.5 cm Rare small painting featuring Tsong kha pa at the heart of a composition in the form of a tree with a huge assembly of deities and deities and spiritual masters associated with the most accomplished teaching of Vajradhara, the supreme buddha. In the upper corners, are the paradises of Maitreya and Amitabha. Near the tree trunk, Mount Meru also emerges Mount Meru, shown here in blue.
