H. 45 cm Beautiful representation of Buddha seated in sattvaparyanka, right hand right hand making the gesture of taking the earth as witness, bhumisparsha mudra. The distinctive style suggests a Laotian of Laotian or Northern Thai origin, even though Laotian Laotian pieces are usually less graceful.
