Lots are sold as is
DIGARD AUCTION is available to provide potential buyers with condition reports on the lots. Lot descriptions (including characteristics such as dimensions and colors) derived from the catalog, reports, labels, and verbal statements or announcements are merely DIGARD AUCTION’s expression of its perception of the lot and do not constitute proof of any fact.
The condition of each lot offered in this auction is not specified in the lot descriptions.
Telephone Bidding. The standard method for bidding is to be present in the auction room or to register on the Drouot or Intérenchères digital platforms.
However, DIGARD AUCTION may, at its discretion, accept telephone bids from a potential buyer who has registered prior to the auction. The minimum threshold for requesting a telephone line is €500.
Lots marked with the symbol “*” will be sold under the general VAT regime in accordance with Article 83-I of Law No. 2023-1322 of December 29, 2023. In this case, VAT will apply to the sum of the hammer price and buyer’s premiums at the reduced rate of 5.5% for works of art, collectibles, and antiques (as defined in Art. 98-A-II, II, IV of Annex III to the General Tax Code) and at the rate of 20% for other goods (including jewelry and watches less than 100 years old, automobiles, wines and spirits, and multiples, this list not being exhaustive). If the property sold is subject to the general VAT regime, the amount of VAT will be indicated on the auction receipt, and the buyer who is subject to VAT will be entitled to a refund.
